Connecting with Other People

Registering colleagues as Contacts allows you to share publications, files and calendars with them, and you can invite them to be part of collaborative Groups, Projects and Events.

If your contact is already a colwiz member:
  1. First of all, you need to find them on colwiz. In the Search bar at the top of the page, enter a person’s name.
  2. If anyone on colwiz has that name, they will be visible in the search results. Hover the mouse over the person’s result box, and an  Add to Contacts button should appear.
  3. Click the Add to Contacts button. A contact request will be sent to this person. When they accept the request they will be registered in your Contacts.

If your contact is not already a colwiz member, you can invite them by two main methods:
  • In your online colwiz account, click on the  invite button to the right of the screen
  • In your desktop Library, click on the  invite button at the bottom of the screen.
In the resulting pop-up window, enter the email addresses of your contacts, and when you are finished, click 'Send Invitation'.
Note: Unfortunately at this stage we do not the ability to automatically find your contacts from your email address book, though we hope to introduce this feature soon.
