Since a few days, I always get the colwiz unreachable error when I start the desktop app. The message says "Looks like there is some problem with your internet connection. Please check your connectivity and try to login again.", but since I'm posting this on the same internet connection, that doesn't seem to be the problem.
The website is working as usual, so my account can't be the problem either. I tried re-installing the app, but that didn't solve the problem either.
What can I do to use the desktop app again?
Please try the following and see if it helps.
1. Clear your cache
For a Windows based system, you can do this by going to the following directory and deleting the “ColwizLibrary” folder.
2. Change your password
Since you’re successfully able to log in online, try changing your password and see if this helps. You can change your password by logging into colwiz.com and following these steps.
Click on profile picture (top-right) > Account Settings > Change Password
While entering your new password into the desktop application, please make sure there aren’t any spaces before or after the characters.
3. Try logging in from a different network
If you are accessing the desktop library from your office network, try logging in from home, or any other network. Also, make sure you are using default network settings and have proxy disabled.
4. Try a different system
Install colwiz desktop application on a separate computer and see if you’re able to log in there.
Hope these suggestions help.
