Slow response, missing items, hangs

Settled on Colwiz this fall as my refrence managers, love the drive feature, google docs integration and chrome web features.

That said - recently the program starts to hang, both on the web and Mac OsX version.

I used Chrome (47.0.2526.111 (64-bit)) as a web browser & MacOSx (10.10.5).

I'd think a clean install would work but when I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it my account just came back.

Up until the past few days it was just extremely slow. Now I can't add anything at all and even when I can get it to settle down it is nearly impossible to look at or pull up a reference. This is both on the web and in the app.


Should I open a new account? Not sure how to proceed.

Apologies for the slowdowns you’ve experienced. Are you sure you haven’t crossed the 5,000 publications limit mark on your library? Please try deleting your cache and see if that helps.

On the desktop library:

Log out of your library and select the option of deleting locally saved data as you log out. This will delete locally stored data and retrieve your library information from the online library on your next Log in.

On the online library:

Press and hold the sync button (2 rotating arrows) located on the bottom-left side of your library’s main list view. You’ll see the option of deleting locally saved data on the top of your browser. Select “Ok” and let the library refresh.
